How To Make A Rainbow With Your Child

Painting with shaving cream?

That’s right. Shaving cream is not just for shaving anymore.

This was an idea I found on Pinterest. I had so much fun doing this, I wanted to share it with you.

Watch my 1-minute tutorial below, and you too can be on your way to creating a shaving cream masterpiece.

Read further for a list of materials needed.

What you’ll need:

  • Shaving cream
  • food coloring
  • paper (I used thick watercolor paper, to ensure it wouldn’t warp)
  • squeegee or other scraper (like a ruler or piece of cardboard)
  • aluminum foil or pan
  • toothpick, paint brush, knife, etc (any kind of tool you can use to spread and swirl)

My colorful results
